From Nord
By car from ROME take AUTOSTRADA A1 and then A3 taking exit Castellamare di Stabia (which is the first exit after Pompei), then follow the signs to Sorrento-Positano-Praiano ( from the end of the A1 in Naples-Caserta approx 90 minutes )
From South
AUTOSTRADA A3 Sa-Rc to Salerno, then onto the SS 163 (Costiera Amalfitana)
Airport
From NAPLES airport the CURRERI coach company offers connections to & from Sorrento, in alternative from NAPLES you can also take the local CIRCUMVESUVIANA private train to SORRENTO (1hr) & then the SITA bus to SITA bus to Positano, Praiano and Amalfi (approx 90mins ask the driver to stop you at the Continental )
From ROME
there are regular trains to NAPLES and SALERNO (approx 90mins)
From June to September there is a direct bus service (Marozzi) from Tiburtina Station in ROME to PRAIANO.
There are also direct bus services (Curreri & Marozzi) from ROME-SORRENTO all year round.
Public transport is recommended as PARKING is at a premium on the Amalfi Coast, however PARKING is available
